A: Typically ~7-10 days, unless repairs are required. Please ensure you have clearly stated your calibration requirements and sent your Official Company Purchase Order to avoid delays.

Price depends on the flow rates you require. For an accurate quote please email gjcinstr@btinternet.com quoting the instrument serial number and the calibration flow rates you require. Please also mention the country you are based in so we can provide a return shipping quote.

We normally only take “as found” readings at 1.0 ml/min. If you require “as found” data at all your requested calibration flow rates, please request this clearly on your paperwork by stating “before and after data at all chosen flow rates”, and please also inform us by email (gjcinstr@btinternet.com) prior to sending your instrument. There will be a charge for this extra work.

Generally we can repair model 5025000 (Part No. 2000) flowmeters. The cost is dependent on the damage (e.g. broken flow tube, damaged valve) and we quote for this once we inspect the flowmeter. We would then await your authorisation before undertaking the repairs. Following repairs the flowmeter must be recalibrated.

For older type flowmeters e.g. GJC10001, PSL680001 repairs are sometimes not possible if parts are obsolete or if the cost is uneconomical. In this instance we are able to offer a ‘trade-in’ discount if we destroy the old flowmeter and you purchase a new model 5025000 flowmeter.

All our calibration equipment is calibrated to UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) standards and therefore your flowmeter or peak output simulator calibrations are traceable back through this. http://www.ukas.com/ UKAS is the sole national UK accreditation body recognised by the UK government to access, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services. Our calibrations are traceable to UKAS not NIST standards. That means all our calibration test equipment are calibrated annually by UKAS certified labs and are issued annually with UKAS certificates. Therefore our calibration measurements are traceable through UKAS to national and international standards. There are multi-lateral agreements between international bodies to recognise each others Accreditation Standards –http://www.ukas.com/about_accreditation/International/international_agreements.asp

Copies of UKAS certificates for our test equipment are available as .pdf files to download from our Documentation or Calibration page.
